Aim: New tools and products developed by biotechnologists are useful in research, agriculture, industry and the clinic. The aim of this panel is to promote and discuss the latest research in exploting biological processes to solving environemtal problems, providing biomaterials, therapeutic substances, healthy food and contribute to improved agriculture and livestock use.
