REDUCING CO2 EMISSIONS BY GREEN TECHNOLOGIES & INNOVATIONS
Since 1765, when we unleashed the power of coals, we have witnessed an exponentially increasing number of innovations in industrial technologies. That was the first industrial revolution. The second was in 1870, revolving around the discoveries of gas, electricity, and oil. The third one – around 1969 - opened the epoch of nuclear energy and electronics.
Although, these three revolutions gave us almost unlimited power and possibilities to change the way our society functions, they provoked great damage to our home planet. Naturally, that led us to the present industrial revolution – the era of green technologies, artificial intelligence, and the internet. Now, we are facing the consequences of the high CO2 emissions and the compromised quality of the most vital component for our lives – the air.
It’s not too late to unite the forces of science and green engineering in order to reduce the high levels of pollution that we have brought with our old industrial methods. We have already discovered hundreds of alternative sources and renewable energy technologies. Today, our goal is to put them into action!
You can contribute to the Green Revolution by sharing your researches, papers, or artistic rendering in that sphere and participating in our annual conferences SGEM Vienna Green. Go GREEN & JOIN the TEAM! Become a member of our mission for open sharing and evolution of knowledge.
